  • BC Service

    BC Service

We’re taught to rinse BCs after every dive, drain water from the bladder, and store them slightly inflated. Even with good habits, it is still recommended to service your BC annually along with your regulators.

Small amounts of sand or salt in the dump valves can let air leak out. Debris or salt in the inflator can let air leak in and cause the BC to auto-inflate. Both problems affect your buoyancy and increase your risk.

Our annual BC service includes servicing the power inflator, cleaning the interior bladder, inspecting all dump valves and releases, and checking for leaks.

  • Dive Computer

    Dive Computer

Scuba Gear Service LLC offers professional dive computer service, including battery replacement, leak testing and full function testing in a custom water-filled pressure chamber. These services help keep your dive computer reliable, watertight and ready for your next trip.

Function testing places your dive computer in a water-filled pressure chamber and runs a 30-minute simulated dive to 130 feet while we operate the buttons at depth.

  • Regulator Service

    Regulator Service

Upon arrival, your regulator enters our scuba regulator service process, where it is inspected and tested to establish a baseline before any repairs.

After servicing is complete, we perform a post-test and compare those results to the specifications again. We document the post-test results, and you receive a copy of the Repair Report.
